On the evening of 07 October 2015, A small White Chevy Cruz (type vehicle), stopped by and on the spot asked me if I would like a verbal price estimate for some minor repairs to my vehicle.  He quoted $240 and when I told him I'd like to think about it, reduced the Price to $150.  The repairs were to be to repair a small (2.5 inch) deep scratch (.25 inch deep) in the front plastic bumper, drivers side, and remove the dent in the right front fender (small area at corner).  He said that when it was done, it would be "perfect".  I agreed to a price of $150 to perform the repairs.

He (Tony) and an associate worked on the area for about 15-30 minutes, applying a torch to the plastic bumper to melt the dented area and apply a small amount of bondo to the area, wet sanded the plastic bumper, banged out the metal front fender panel, leaving hammer marks in the metal.  The bumper was painted with some spray lacquer, leaving the area without a gloss shine.  Mr. Tony called me over to inspect the effort, which was at the time sprayed with water, to make it look like the job was done and that it was finished with a clear coat.  I started to wipe off the water with my hand and he told me not to do that because it was still wet.  He then asked me if it was done to my satisfaction, to which I replied that it was not to the level I expected and that dents still shown on the metal fender quarter panel.  He told me that the only way to correct that was a new fender panel.

Subsequent to my payment and after the water dried, I found that the job was sub-satisfactory.  On 13 October 2015, I called to request a refund after a heated discussion concerning the quality of this work.  To resolve this, I was asked to pay for the materials to which I replied that I would be willing to pay $25.  I was also asked if I wanted him to redo the work for additional money. I got many counter arguments during the discussion and concluded that this individual and company are not reputable and unwilling to provide a refund.  Unable to resolve my dissatisfaction, I concluded the conversation -- this company cannot be trusted to do quality work.

Lessons learned:  1.  Do not accept any unsolicited offers to repair from an unknown company; 2.  Do not do business with a company whose business card does not have more than a phone number and email address; and 3.  If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

I do not recommend this company for any repairs or work service.
