hermanstreet.com Herman Street, Inc refused to refund my money when antivirus program Bitdefender 2014 totally messed up my PC West Haven UT

I upgraded my PC from Windows XP to Windows 7 so I needed a new antivirus program.  I searched the internet and found a website that rates antivirus programs and it rated Bitdefender 2014 number one.  I clicked on a link to buy Bitdefender 2014 and that took me to hermanstreet.com a 3rd party seller of software for bitdefender.com

I paid for Bitdefender 2014 using my credit card and then I was able to download the Bitdefender 2014 antivirus program.  I installed Bitdefender 2014 and that was where my troubles started.  Bitdefender 2014 kept me from accessing certain websites that I go to where I play online games.  Bitdefender 2014 also slowed my PC way down.  I wanted to give Bitdefender 2014 a chance because it had been rated number one in antivirus protection, but it did not work out for me at all.  
I tried everything I could to get the program to work but it totally messed my PC up.  I contacted Bitdefender.com and told them about my problem that suggested I upgrade to Bitdefender 2014 which would solve my problems.  I refused to spend more money on Bitdefender 2015 upgrade when Bitdefender 2014 did not perform well.  I tried for five months to get this antivirus progam to work as it was supposed to but I was unsuccessful.  

Bitdefender.com told me that they could not refund my purchase price because I had purchased Bitdefender 2014 through a third party hermanstreet.com and that I should contact them for a refund.  I contacted support@hermanstreet.com and they refused to issue me a refund because I was past their 30 day refund rule.  hermanstreet.com said that the only way they could refund my money was for Bitdefender.com to email them an authorization.  I contacted Bitedefender.com and explained all of this and they told me in an email that they were sorry for my problems and they would authorize a refund and that I should forward their email authorizing a refund to hermanstreet.com.  I did this and hermanstreet.com still refuses to refund my money back to my credit card.  I contacted my credit card company and they said they could not help me because I could only dispute a charge on my card for 30 days.

I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau over this, and hermanstreet.com still will not refund my money.  I contacted Bitdefender.com and told them that hermanstreet.com would not accept the email that I forwarded from Bitdefender.com giving authorization for a refund.  Bitdefender.com contacted me back and told me that they would contact hermanstreet.com on my behalf.  If I do not receive a refund after Bitdefender.com contacts hermanstreet.com or get satisfaction through my complaint with the Better Business Bureau by receiving a refund, I will be taking hermastreet.com to small claims court.  This ain't my first rodeo and I will not be scammed by hermanstreet.com.  

Stay away from purchasing anything from hermanstreet.com, I just checked their rating on the Better Business Bureau and they are rated F by the Better Business Bureau.   STAY AWAY FROM HERMANSTREET.COM


After what I have been through with hermanstreet.com I am not using my real name or my real city or state because they would problably try to retaliate for my posting a Rip Off Report on them.
