Hewlett Packard ripoff HP Pavilion broken and warranty is worthlesss Omaha Nebraska

I bought HP Pavilion zd 8000 for ~2500$ only to have the DVD player and power transformer break along with the external television card not work. I called HP help and they would put me on hold and reback to me the trouble shooting manual, which I had already been thru. After going thru the trouble shooting manual they offered to extend my warrant at my cost after they informed me they could not help me and would have to call me back? They never called back and when I called them they told me that the internet company was at fault.

I had to take the computer back to COMPUSA, the store which I purchased the laptop from, along with an extended warranty. COMPUSA charged me $300.00 for the warrranty at the time of purchase and to fix the laptop they still charged me $100.00.

Both the HP and COMPUSA warranties are essentially worthless and this is the worst computer I"ve ever own, which is really saying something since I built my last computer. Avoid these products like the plague
