Hewlitt Packard Notebook Rebate ripoff! Young America Minnesota

Bought a Compaq/HP combined notebook printer deal from Office Depot on 5/02/06. The deal was for a $100 rebate from Office Depot and a $70 and $30 rebate from HP. I will write another rip off report for Office Depot. After waiting almost two months I contacted HP and was told that my submission was denied because no serial number was included...The submission included the serial number in the blank provided and it was also on the copy of the UPC. The submissions were impecible and correct and submitted in the proper time frame.

I cannot get satisfaction from HP and have sent their chairman several Emails only to be told to that they would refer me to the rebates department. The CEO of HP should be in jail with others like Kenneth Lay and Bernie Ebers.. I certainly would not have bought the Compaq notebook without the attractive price after rebates. Should have bought a Dell!!!
