All was good for about a year when everything changed. First we got a bill for $415 and some change. So tell me how can I have the service for 1 year, pay early time and now get a bill for that much? Lets do the math. $54.19 every 3 months for a year is only $217.76. How they got $415 is crazy.

The first thing I did was call. That is another problem. Getting someone to answer is a task all in its self. I called them every weekday for 2 1/2 weeks. I did not leave a message due to the fact that the answering machine was full.

After 3 weeks of calling someone happened to answer. It was Laura (the owners wife). She said she would get someone to call me and get everything right. Keep in mind my we are now going on 2 weeks that my trash was not being picked up. Around 2 weeks later she (Laura) called me back and said she needed proof of payment, and as soon as she got that they would start picking my trash up. 4 weeks of no trash pick up. Proof of payment was sent the same day. Laura gave me her cell phone number and told me that if my trash was not picked up that Friday to call her. Guess what?

My trash was not picked up. I called her cell phone and she told me that one of the trucks were in an accident and it was totaled out. They would pick up everyone's trash when they can. By this time my husband had already taken our trash to work so we would not look like we were trash collectors.

After 6 weeks of no trash service why should I pay the next bill right? They did not bother to credit anyones bills for the inconvence. I called Laura again and told here that she needed to credit my bill and also that I wanted to cancel my service. She told me that I had to send in my full bill or they would take me to small claims court and get me for theaft of service. Being the better person and sending in my next 3 months payment we got our trash picked up after 7 weeks of waiting.

Guess what time it is again? Billing time! I just got another bill and is said I owed another $200 and something. I called Laura's cell and she told me this time that "Hiram Waste is her husband's company and that if I had a problem I needed to leave a message on the business line." Here I go calling again.

I just got in touch with someone on 9/4 and she said if I leave my last payment of $54.19 on the trash can they will empty the can and they would be by on Saturday to pick up the trash can.

The can is still out by the street!

I won't call this woman a liar but I do not agree with her version of the story. I do agree that she owed money but it was no as much as she said. I worked with her to bring the amount owed down to a resonable amount for her to pay. One of the owners talked to her so that she could confirm that payment would be made and to assure her that we would pick up our garbage can promptly. When someone went by to pick up the can and payment it was no where to be found. Two weeks later she called and said that the can and payment had been at the end of her driveway for two weeks and that it needed to be picked up or she would get rid of it. We went and picked up the can and she still called. There was no return phone call to her due to the fact that she was no longer a customer. We are not going to call back after you have cancelled and the can has been picked up. I encourage anyone to set up service with us due to the fact that there is no contract and we will pick up almost anything you put out there without charging you per bag like IESI does.
