I went to Hit Web design with all intentions of finding a long term company I could work with on this and future projects.  My Indian team did not have the skills for the web site I needed so I decided to spend a bit more and use these guys.   I spent a good deal of time with their sales rep.  even showing him a site I wanted to more or less replicate.  Everything was "yes we can do that", etc. etc. etc.
I was promised the site.  I showed them exactly what they needed to do.  He said an account manager would call the next morning.  I tried to set a time, but he had hung up.  Next morning, a guy named Taylor Best called.  I was in the middle of a conference call and asked him to call me back at 2:00 p.m. and to send me his contact info.   He agreed.   No call.  So, I waited 4 days.  No call.  I finally called into their system and had to wait 10 minutes to get to the right department.  At this point a lady named Jessica took the call.  I told her I did not want this Taylor guy as my account manager.  She apologized and tried to help.  I again took her to the site that I wanted to replicate and she told me the only way we could get this done in my time frame was to use their "express service" and that I had to accept their terms of agreement etc. before it could be started.  I told her I needed to talk to a graphic design person or a programmer to go through the outline of the web.  She sent me this message:

Please go to that site and accept the sales agreement and terms of
service. No progress can be made on the account until those are accepted.

After you have accepted those, I'm going to ask that you please
put in your domain name through the web center. Simply click "Submit Content"
and then "Domain Name" and follow the directions there.

Next, please answer the 25 question survey and select a starting
layout number.
Here is a link to the questions:

I told her I didn't want a template, and I didn't think that their designs would work.  She said to take a look and see.  So, I completed the questionaire and picked a template that sort of looked like what I wanted.   Next thing I know, "Taylor" calls me and congratulates me on having my website designed and rams a hosting agreement down my throat.  I told him that I didn't want it.  He said I had to have it and that I would be charged regardless.  I told him that the original rep had said that I could elect hosting at $10 per month.  That is all I authorized.  Next thing I know, they charge my card for a year.

After that, I started emailing to talk to a supervisor.  I explained the problems in the email.  Never an answer.

I emailed Taylor and Jessica to call.  Finally, Jessica called.  I went to the site and looked at what they had done.

It was unbelievable.  They had taken a web template and simply dumped in some text that had no relevance to what I was trying to do.  I could have done better with a GO Daddy template.  So bad I won't even go into it.

Now the fun part.  I tried to call either account manager.  Taylors box was full.  Jessica was busy.
So I called into the general number.  It took 1 hr and 10 minutes to get connected to a rep.  I then went through all of the problems.  Showed the account mgr. the site I was trying to make, and he told me I need to be in the customized program, and that I wouldn't get to talk to anyone for 2 weeks or so.  I told the original sales rep  Chase, that I needed the site up in 3 weeks.

What a joke.  Then Jessica finally called me back and told me to make all of the changes and edits to the "site" they had built.  I started to, then decided that it would take me hours to try to make their site work.  What was I paying for?

So, I called a webdesigner I know, paid out more money, but my site was built in 24 hours.
This company is a total scam, other than for some poor schmuck who has never had a web site.

Then, I called to cancel.  They told me they were keeping all of my money for "services rendered".

What a load of crap.   Don't ever do business with these guys.
