Hit Web Design Heritage Web Design Fraudulent Company Beware of all Offers Provo, Utah

OMG!!! Lesson learned! I will never do business with a company again without looking at these reviews!

I needed a new web site design. I looked to the internet for a professional. I found Hit Web Design and their web site seemed to promise all I was looking for: professional designers, fully managed by you once developed, short time period, etc. I was fooled by their web site, their advertised ranking on their own web site, and the soft spoken and helpful person that answered the phone and explained what they could do to help me. This person made me an offer that fit my budget and made it easy to agree. Since I agreed to their deal and gave them my cc# I have had 5 account managers, 4 designers (one with a police photo when I googled his name), and no one there has spent more than 20 minutes to design my website. The third designer asked me to write down everything I wanted to see in my website which I did, and he made an appointment to get back to me but when he didn't call, I checked and he's now off my account. The last designer had only been at the co. 2 weeks and I managed to get my details implemented before he left the co. for a couple of weeks with emergency surgery. This was in November.

It's now almost the end of January, 4 months since they charged my credit card for the whole development amount and a year of hosting fees. My web site is still somewhere in limbo. I gave them my authorization to go ahead and bring it live thinking I could edit it once it was live. More than a week later, it is still not live and I can't raise anyone on the phone or by email. My email associated with my old web site has been brought over into their FREE email account which is a nightmare. No spamming tools, everything just dumps in there. I've tried to link it up with my gmail account but it doesn't come through.

This Company is fraudulent and a money game! While promising to provide services, they have asked me for more money through upgrades almost every time I have had the opportunity to speak with someone. I saw the writing on the wall fairly early and have refused to give them another dime. Warning! Don't give them a dime up front and save yourself months of hassle and the potential loss of all of your money. The jury is still out on whether I have a total loss or not.

They have a little piece of near worthless software that was likely customized from something they got for free and all they can do is create an extremely basic web site and then they tag on Zencart - a FREE product that anyone can use, and sell it to you for big bucks. Even their email is the extremely basic roundcube or squirrelmail, really? This is all they can offer? The blog is something called blueocean which I have never heard of or can find no information on anywhere.

This is just criminal!

Every time you call and can actually get someone, you can hear the bells ringing and party in the background where they are celebrating ripping off one more innocent and overworked business person. This just makes me sick. I realize that people working for this company are just trying to make a living and employment is a tough situation these days, but really people, do you feel good when you lie to people day after day? Can you sleep at night without reflecting on your daily activities? Why are you doing this? If you have business skills and are ligit, you can get a job where you can respect yourself and respect your customers.

This company is a BLACK HOLE! PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER! If you are a small business owner, you can not afford to hire this company. It is just as plain as that. I have spent so much time at this point that I am ready to just resign myself to the fact that I have lost all the money and time that I have invested here. I'm back to square one.

In the week since I told them to go live with the site, I have called 30 times and have been able to get no one on the phone. They have this "live chat" on their web site which is totally fraudulent and does not function. You call any of the numbers and there is not answer, it goes immediately to music or if you call customer service or tech support, you get a message that you will be on hold for 30 minutes or longer and the closest I got was caller number 16. If they ever did answer my call I know it would take 30 minutes or more just to resolve my issues and with 16 people ahead of me, I just hung up because it would be 3 days! So I sent emails that no one responds to.

This really is a fraudulent company. I have spent hundreds of hours that I didn't have trying to work with them because they took my money right up front and I had hopes of not losing all of it. I wish I had a recourse that would not take me hundreds more hours. This company is a fraud and needs to shut them down!
