I made a decision to replace the oil heating & cooling system after we purchased our home here in the Chesterfield County, VA area.
Listed below you will find a formal complaint that I filed with Trane regarding Hix/AirRight and the mess they made of the installation of our Trane XL20i Heating & Cooling system.
To Whom It May Concern,
This message is to inform you that I Ernest Clinton Upchurch am filing a formal complaint against Hix/AirRight Heating & Cooling, 1642 Oak Lake Blvd., Midlothian, VA 23112, Telephone #(804) 379-5572. When the system was installed, Hix Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc was the authorized Trane sales/installing/service dealership. I have listed the reasons below for my formal complaint:
1) I purchased a Trane XL20i High Efficiency Heat Pump/Air Handler System, - (Please see attached proposal)
2) Since this system was turned over to me on or about 03/30/2010, I have had nothing but an ongoing problem trying to keep it operational. As of today, I do not use the authorized (Hix/AirRight) I have submitted more than thirty (30) work orders/service reports to the Trane Customer Relations.
3) I have not used Hix/AirRight for normal service or any repairs since 2011. Please note that as of today, I have decided to seek legal assistance in my efforts to resolve the many problems with this installation/maintenance/system, and the recovery of the additional costs incurred since it was installed 03/30/2010.
I have used AirMaxx Heating & Cooling for service since 10/2012. Attached you will find a copy of the formal sales proposal for your information.
Please contact me for additional information, there is a complete paper-trail of the problems and attempted repairs of this system by Hix/AirRight over the past three (3) years.

I Ernest C Upchurch am formally stating the following correction to my initial report:
Please remove the name "AirRight" from every area of my initial report. Since filing thaat report, I have learned that "AirRight" was not involved or affilated with the company known as "Hix" that provided the sale, installation and service that was listed in that report.
If I in anyway offended or misused the current "AirRight", by Hix ownership with my posting. I am posting a very sincere apology for that mistake.
