HLA Investigations Didn't complete work that I paid for. Owner flew into a rage when I asked for refund. Yucca Valley California

We hired HLA investigations to conduct a criminal background search. HLA did an initial free check on the person and claimed to have several serious crimes listed for them, stating that we could have the full report for a hefty fee. We paid for the report. Mr. Ames, the owner, would only accept cash. He then dropped out of contact for several days and would not return phone calls. He eventually faxed us a list of the person's previous addresses, no criminal report what so ever. Again he would not return phone calls. I finally left him a message asking for a full refund. He then called back screaming and cursing, telling me to come and get my refund myself, telling me to "Bring it on!", he then hung up. Realizing what kind of person I was dealing with I didn't call back and of course never got my refund or background report.
