HMSBlue fradulent charges to check card

I also received charges to my check card. The first month was $8.95 in October. The second charge was $29.95 in November. The reason I noticed it was because my account was overdrawn.

My bank gave me the number 1-866-hms-blue. When I called the first thing they asked me was "how much" and my check card number.I was reluctant but gave it to them anyway because I figured they already had it. He was quick to credit the $29.95 back "in up to 10 days" but would not refund the $8.95. He said it was because they no longer handle that charge and I would have to dispute it and the overdrawn fee with my bank. I was also transferred to a "supervisor" which was a female voice mail that stated something like..."this is the voicemail of the supervisor's desk...". I left a message and they did not call me back either. What messed them up was that they called someone else's house and they say that person authorized a purchase of a tele-zapper when she told them not to call her house anymore.

They charged it to my check card number because that's the number they had on file(I don't know where they got it from),but I don't live there. I also decided I would do some checking up on the company on the internet and had trouble finding them (even on better business bureau website). I found this website under the google search with hmsblue complaints. I am shocked that I am being victimized by a national scam.

When I read the post about the $8.95 I was shocked because I have the same charge on my checking. but hers was a shipping and handling charge for a travel pack and mine was for a telezapper (imagine a telemarketer selling you a tele-zapper when you tell them not to call your house again).A lot of people have been calling that house mentioning something about a free vacation.

This has caused my mother and I mental anguish. HMS Blue says I cannot get the $8.95 back and they will not pay the overdrawn fee. And the bank will not credit the overdrawn fee because they say it was hms's fault and the bank did nothing wrong. To the guy who mentioned a lawsuit...I am very willing to prosecute. We are going to go forward with this and call our congressman. This company probably gets a lot of profit doing this. Think about it.

If they fraudulently charge 1,000 people $8.95 and 1/10 complain and get refunds, they still make $8055.00
and I know they didn't only call 1000 people. Even if we do get our money back we have to do something to stop these people. They shouldn't be able to invade our homes with these phone calls and harrass us about buying their products. If I want to buy a vacuum or whatever, I'll call you!!!
