Hobbytron - Hobbytron.com Deliberate, deceptive, deceitful. They send defective merchandise and refuse to refund or replace. San Fernando California

 I ordered two "airsoft" toy guns for my son from Hobbytron.com of 525 Park Ave
San Fernando, CA 91340. One gun was defective (it broke immediately). I filled out their webform to return it within 10 days. They refused to refund or replace saying, "once you've played with it you can't return it." I attempted to email them, and telephone them to no avail. Then, when I complained to the BBB, they offered a different reason for not honoring the warranty, saying that I missed the 30 day return deadline! My credit card company wouldn't cancel the charge either, saying it was between me and the company. 

Hobbytron is selling poorly made imports which carry no manufacturer warranty, and is deliberately engaging in misleading, deceptive practices to avoid honoring it's own stated return policy. I have since found that there are many, many similar complaints from consumers on the internet. Why is California allowing this company to repeatedly ripoff consumers?
