A LETTER SHE SENT TO A PUPPY BUYER:

Dear (puppy buyer)

I have some bad news. Tried calling you but got the answering machine each time. Treat died of bloat last night. Jane, who loved him dearly, called me in tears and we spent over an hour on the phone. Bloat is common among all large chested breeds, but it is something neither of us have experienced in the past. Treat was no doubt more susceptible due to his deplorable condition, despite Jane's devoted and extensive efforts to help restore him over the past two months.

I received photos of him taken right after his arrival in Kentucky and feel sick and outraged. How you could have a dog looking like that and not be aware that he was in trouble is beyond my comprehension, just as is how you could get him looking like that in the first place. Treat was as serious a neglect case as I have ever seen, and to remember the fat, healthy, happy, furry little puppy that left here such a relatively short time ago is my own personal nightmare. Treat was my favorite from that litter he had bright light that distinguished him from the others and I let him go with you because I felt that, with "no other dogs", you could and would give him the time, individual attention and love that I have to share among all my pets. It was the biggest mistake 'l have made in dogs.

On more than one occasion I expressed alarm to you at your continual complaints about Treat, never once calling him by name, never once having anything positive to say about him, not even the most casual hint of affection. Every time a letter arrived from you, I wondered what you were going to complain about, what he had done wrong or what he wasn't doing that you thought he should be. I only wish I would have known the true situation and could have done something about it. If your other dog is in anything like Treat's condition, I suggest you get professional help for her immediately.

I am devastated that Treat is gone. but my sorrow is not for you after seeing these photos, it is for him and the life he must have endured with you. Katie Asling Hoka- hey

So ..lets go briefly over her adhominem attack:
1.....she never lost a dog to bloat till she bought a dog ..bred the dog...sold 'fully guaranteed puppies'...and lost a puppy to bloat !

Killed herself leaving the dogs to die of neglect!!!!
3....if thats how Katie treats a friend....how does she treat the competition?
