U will find what Hollywood Toyota did sicking. My 82 year old sick father went on 12-17-02 to toyota to by my son's xmas gift. the salesman Norman Cambell showed him a 94 s-10 pickup. Being a 5 speed and not able to test drive it, the salesman did. Told my dad it was in very good shape, My dad made the deal, paid for it. this included a delivery charge since we live 300 miles north, with the promise of xmas del.the next day the salesman called and said there had been a mistake and they wanted 1.000 more,My dad said no, it was paid for, then Charles Gordon from toyota called him and said they cant sell it because they didnt have title, this went on for days.

I called them and spoke to Mr Jim Dunn, when I told him what was going on he told me he would take care of it. Which at the time he did.But still know truck, At last they send paperwork which my son had to sign, which they said had to be done befor shipping it. so he signed and ups it back, At last on 1-6-03 10 pm at night the truck arrived. Now during this time I spoke to Norman and he gnt me the truck was in good safe condition, Ac and heat worked had a strong motor should have know problems. Guess what it came off the truck and the first thing we did was ck the fluids, No oil, no water. The next day we took it in to have it cked. Rod knocking very little oil pressure burnt a/c compressor.

Bottom line needs a motor. Called Hollywood Toyota Asked them what was going on why they did this, how they could do this, I was told By Sandy Waleh, It's to bad your son signed the as is paper, I explained they said he had to if we wanted shipment, and besides his Grandfather bought and paid for it, She replied to bad. Even if nobody can help us atleast this might help save someone else from them. We now have a worthless pick-up, Merry Christmas Hollywood Toyota

Jody I have spend a very short bit of time on the phone with these "lot Sharks" that you day has bought from. The time was short becuase they hung up on me.

But their operator gave me some contact info that I feel will be very helpful.

The owner she says name is Craig Zinn and the GM is Craig Martinez, their F&I guy is Henry Abdu and one of their desk managers is Mike Essa.

Jody I feel that they knew that this Chevy S10 was a bike pile of junk right from the GET GO.

Just think about this "HOT DOG" of a car salesman that told your father "get in and I will take you for a test drive"

I feel that in this case their is deception and fruad all over this car deal.

Jody I am so sorry as to how your dad, you and you son have been Ripped Off. Please note that the only way to get the word out is to get your hands on a cheep fax machine. You do not need a fax number to use a fax machine.

Then fax a copy of your Rip Off Report to EVERY and any fax number you can get your hands on. Car dealers hate it when they do not have the ability to shut up a Unhappy car buyer, Trust me I know!
