Home Care Solutions of America David Saldana This man is a fraud as proven in court. Avoid him at all costs. Ooltewah, Tennessee

From day one, Saldana misrepresented himself.  He claimed to have been licensed, bonded, and insured.  Here on Angie's list, he states that his license number is 00006465, however, that license is for another company, and has expired.  The work was not done on schedule, or according to our agreement.  He cut corners left and right.  The French door was hung and secured with one (1) screw - it was neither plumb or level.  The shower walls were not plumb.  The tile work was shoddy, at best, with most grout lines out of alignment.  No backer board was used on the floor for the tiles to stick to.  He did not install a rubber membrane on the shower floor, they poured cement directly on wood sub-floor. The plumbing in the shower was not soldered, just stuck together.  Electrical connections were twisted together in the walls (not in an electrical box).  Wires to other parts of our home cut.  His crew caused damage to other rooms in our house. His workers took a broom and a ladder from other parts of our home to use in their work without asking permission to even be in those parts of the home.  Three weeks after the time the job was to be done, I terminated him after I caught him in another lie.  This man is extremely arrogant.  On several occasions he stated that I was stupid and didn't understand how his business works - I do now.  He stated that I had no right to complain about the work since I didn't know how to do it myself.  He often bragged about how successful he was with his MBA degree and his $500,000 home.  I have since found other complaints about him and his work while operating as "The Home Solution Center, LLC."

He made numerous accusations and threats to me stating (in writing) "If u think u are getting out of paying work up to date u are dead wrong".  Because of his threats, I sought legal assistance to protect my family and my home.  On February 21, 2013, I received a final judgement against Saldana and Home Care Solutions of America.  The court found "that he represented himself as a licensed contractor, when in fact he has no valid license. The court found that his misrepresentation was willful, fraudulent, and constitutes an unfair and deceptive practice as outlined in the Tennessee Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).  The Court found his work to be fraught with numerous defects in workmanship and was not in compliance with building code regulations and found him to be in breach of contract, and left our home with numerous and unsafe defects caused by gross negligence."  The judgment is a matter of public record with the Chancery Court of Hamilton County, TN and these statements can be verified.   One of his workers contacted me three months after Saldana was fired, demanding payment for the work he did stating that Saldana never paid him.

This company solicits work door to door marketing a product called "LeafFree" and attempt to gain remodeling work through this practice.  Here is the bottom line - I found him to be a liar. The work was shoddy and unsafe.  He left our home at great risk of water damage and fire.  Avoid this man and this company at all costs.
