Nobody tells you unsatisfactory deliveries can be refused. Some stores try to make patrons happy and others do not care.

We had no problems in our old store in Matthews NC and the associates were great. Moved to HIgh Point NC and everything changed. Ordered freezer which is too large for room. Advised delivery guys that freezer did not have doors reversed as specified and that the cabinets would not open because of size of freezer. Too bad, so sad.

Called store with no results. Drove back to our old store where we were assured HD would do 'whatever it took' to keep us happy - we are big customers. Spoke with salesperson as well as asst. mgr with 48 hours and heard nothing back. Emailed corporate. Everyone refuses to replace the freezer with a smaller size -  even though I offered to pay delivery fee.

Corporate called to make a token show of concern, kept me on phone while contacting various areas to support her refusal and finshed by cutting me off. Their refrain seems to be that I didn't refuse the item which the delivery people never advised I could do. Freezer untouched, food still in Matthews.

No more busines for HD. No more remodels for HD from this ex-customer.

Also noticed the High Point store seems to be under-staffed. Could not find help twice when seeking to place the original order. I had to actively seek someone to help and that seemed to be a trainee unfamiliar with the entire process.
