I had new doors installed on my home. The installers from Keil (kiel) Construction were very careless & unprofessional. They didn't even complete the job. They didn't even caulk the balcony door & they never inspected the door for damages. Which the door had a crack in it.
I will never go this route again because the Home Depot requires the job to be paid for up front. So then there is no recourse when the installers don't finish the job or they break your personal property.
It has been approximately 2 months trying for the installers to replace my broken chandelier that they broke when entering my home. Also one of the installers complained about his job, like he didn't want to even be there. They were late coming too.
I am still trying to seek restitution for the chandelier they broke & the unfinished job. It is over a month now for them to repair the damage & replace my fixture.
Colleen Wallace is trying to be very helpful to us on getting this matter resolved. She keeps calling the company, but I am still having no luck at all on getting the job completed.
This third party is the crap around here. Also making you pay for services up front is just wrong. I could see paying for the doors (merchandise) upfront, but not the whole job. Now I am having problems & I bet they will still use that useless crew too, no matter how many complaints come in.
Also to add to that, I tried looking up information on Keil (Kiel) Construction & could not find any info on their location. I was told they are from Milford CT. I searched & couldn't find them. Maybe they should be called FLY BY NIGHT CONSTRUCTION.

I am updating my report about Home Depot Installers. The Home Depot worked hard with me to get the matter resolved. I did get a partial refund from Home Depot, however I will never use their installers again. Keil Construction AKA K S Woodcrafters, AKA Kurt Wedermeyer. They are the installers for the Derby Home Depot. The staff tried to get the contractors to finish, but they never did. So I hired my own contractor to finish the job & submitted the cost to The Home Depot what it would cost me to have the job done correctly. So I have to say I am satisfied with the outcome of this disaster. It is not necessarily the store as much as it is the unethical installers. I can say this that The Home Depot in Derby really stood up for me. It was a fight, but if you are in the right & have proof & evidence they have no choice. I just hope they get new installers now.

The installers for the Derby Home Depot were very unprofessional & I have more information on the company to. BEWARE of these incompetent installers. They were to repair the damages on Saturday August 7th 2005 & this has been going on since installation date, well the guy came looked & left & NEVER came back again & I wasted my whole d**n Saturday waiting for the BOZO to return. Here is the information I am going to provide.

UMMM Doesn't it make you wonder Why???? If I had only known before this.
