This is Steven and Joyce Hamlett coming to you again about what Home Depot did to our home 5 years ago. We never had a leak in the home for the first 22 years that we lived here. We decided to upgrade the mobile home with new siding and we chose Home Depot to put the new siding on and it increased the value of the mobile home by $15,000 and it looks good and that was a good investment. Hold on a minute; as soon as the first rain came we had water coming in to the 4 corners of the mobile home.

The person that Home Depot contracted to do this siding job forgot to reattach the metal space in between the mobile home and the downspout and therefore we had water coming into the mobile home immediately and causing damage. We contacted Home Depot immediately and they came out with a couple of so-called experts to see what had happened. They said that it was the roof and I told them that we have never had a problem with the roof leaking in all the years that we lived here.

They essentially called told us that we were wrong and that it was not their problem to fix. They even told me to put caulking in the spaces where the metal should have been. Now that is kind of strange since it was them who didnt finish the job properly and they are telling me what to do to fix the problem that they did in the first place.  They should fix it and finish the job they started. I just dont understand why they cant admit that they are wrong and fix the problem. If they had fixed the mistake they made in the first place then none of this would be happening.

This is simply a nightmare and the Home Depot people dont want to admit that they made a mistake. So I am going to send you the pictures that my insurance company took and you will see what I am talking about and how irresponsible Home Depot has been. We need help now!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also there is some mold forming and that is potentially hazardous to our health. We are crying out for help and we are hoping that you can help in some way. They have given no choice but to sue them for damages and pain and suffering.
