Home Depot Charged twice as much as other contractors, lost order, then did job at a time specifically told not to Omaha Nationwide

Home Depot was contacted for a siding replacement on one side of my house only. They sent a contractor out and because I was foolish and did not get bids, I trusted them and signed a contact. I was very specific that I would be going away for two weeks and needed the work done either before or after I was away. They agreed to do the work before I went away.

Several weeks went by and I contacted the manager of the project to find they had lost my contact. He apologized and made more promises but never followed through. I went on my trip, and while I was away they showed up without my knowledge so I don't know if the job was done correctly.

IMPORTANT: I contacted a small, local contractor to do the other side of my house with the exact same materials, James Harding. He was shocked at what I paid Home Depot and said he thought I had my whole house sided for that price. His price was half. I will never use Home Deoot for a job again.
