Called Home Depot, they send out a technician. The technician says washer is fine and works, but confirms does not get clothes clean. I call back Home Depot asking to return machine for a credit back to my card, or for a in-store credit to purchase a different machine. They said I can't there is only a two day return policy, now that they ate up the time by first saying a technician has to be called out first. Read Home Depot's return policy it says I have 90 days. Have only had the machine for 18 days. I just want to return the current machine and purchase a different one still through Home Depot. Purchased a Whirlpool washing machine Online through Home Depot. The washer arrived was set up, but after a couple washings realized the clothes were not getting clean. Called Home Depot to ask about returning the washing machine. Home Depot said nothing could be done until a technician came out and looked at the machine. A technician was sent out, he looked at the machine, and said it was fine, no damage, functioned like it is supposed too, but verified it does not get clothes, or the wash very clean. Home Depot is called back told them still do not want the machine, want to return it and have it credited back to the credit card it was purchased on, or, Or be given an in-store credit to purchase a different machine from them, Home Depot. To which Home Depit replied, "the machine can not be returned now because there is only a two day window policy in which a purchase of a major appliance can be returned. After they ate up the two day window by insisting on sending out a technician first to look at the machine. I went on-line and looked up Home Depot's return policy which says usually it is 90 days to return an on line purchase. We have only had the washing machine 18 days. If nothing else there is always a 30 day return on most items that Home Depot should honor. Again have only had the washing machine 18 days. I just want to return the purchased Whirlpool washing machine to Home Depot, for a credit or in-store credit in order to buy a different, better machine!
