A representative comes out to your home , promising shopping sprees , gift certificates etc , by referring other people that you know ( friends and family) and giving the representative those peoples names and numbers. The demonstration on the HYLA air purifier takes about an hour.

You are then told you will recieve the product in about a week and are asked to give a Deposit for the Air purifier. In this case it was $189.00 , I'm sure it varies. They promise to return your Deposit to you , seeing as you never got the product , but the Deposit is kept. You are now out $189.00 and have nothing to show for it , other than , You have been scammed. You are promised that the Deposit money is in the mail and it is on it's way to you , but you never see it. Promise , after promise , Continuous lie upon lie .

AUTHOR: Other Side Of The Story - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, October 08, 2007

I want to give the other side to the story to hopefully shed some light on the why this customer probably did not recieve a refund...

I worked for Mr. Shryock as an office manager for a little more than 2 years, and you will not hear me EVER speak negatively about him nor his company! The product sold by QAS, Inc is quite expensive and most of the time customers opt to finance the equipment through a bank or financial institution. As a manager, I often dealt with the contracts and of course the customers as well. As with any loan, customers must be approved for the financing and are usually required to put down a deposit or down payment to "lock down" the purchase. Now, it clearly reads in the credit application that if the customer is NOT approved for the loan, then their deposit is NON- REFUNDALBE. It serves much like an application fee which is common with many credit applications. I do not know for sure if that is the case with this particular situation but I certainly had to explain the terms to several customers who were not approved during my tenure. Based on my experiences with QAS, I find it very unlikely that the deposit would not be returned for no reason. I hope this helps!!!
