Jann Blalock was given full control over my HOA in April 2011 by the home builder.  She informed me that I owed money from our previous management company she only gave me an amount and refused to produce the books from the previous company/home builder.  She did allow me to pay April 2011 dues but only after swearing at me in front of my child and her friend.  I attempted to pay May 2011 dues and that check was taped to my front door in the middle of the night with a nasty note.  In June 2011 I sent her my dues certified mail and she refused them, I did this again in July 2011.
Jann Blalock made arrangements with other home owners to clear their back HOA dues, even going as far as to allow one person to cut grass summer of 2011 to work off his dues, when I offered to cut grass I was told no that it was that home owners job. (again she has never proven to any home owner what was actually due, they were just tried of her threats)
In late June/early July 2011 I began receiving threaten letter from an attorney/debt collector Jann Blalock had hired with HOA money.  In late August 2011 Jann Blalock had a lien put on my home and in March 2012 my home is being advertised in The Alabama Messenger for foreclosure.
I did attempt again to just work this out without Jann having to prove what my back dues truly are but was told by her attorney's paralegal that I was not to have any contact with my HOA and that my only option is to pay the total bill, according to them over $3000.00.
I have been banned by Jann from our community pool, I don't have lawn service and I am not allow to vote/voice my opinion on any HOA issue; my only service from the HOA is a termite bond.
