I think that I may have made the foolish decision of registering with homecareersearch. I used my credit card to register with and they had deducted $29.95 already. After you register, there is a link that will allow you to go to the members area to login w/ your email address and password. I entered in my information correctly several times and I kept getting the error "invalid email address and/or password." I checked my hotmail account and the company had sent me and email with my order number and login info, so I tried again. Still got the same error.
There was even a link for if you forgot your password that I pressed. It asks you to enter your email address and when I did, it said that I was not registered. And I'm like "Huh?" I emailed the support center and told them my situation. I'm waiting for a response. There is even a number on the contact page for billing inquiries. Now, I have been calling this number before I registered and I was able to get someone. Now, all of a sudden, the number is not working. All you get is a lot of dead air.
I had been emailing the support center for about 2 weeks now asking them different questions about the company and how eveything works. They sounded legit and I got responses back within a hour or two. Hopefully, I will hear something back from them. I will put an update on here to let you all know what happened. Thanks for reading!

Dear Friend,
I too was mislead by homecareersearch.com since August of 2002, to this date I have not been successful in landing my work at home dream job. I mean every job posting they listed I inquire about them and to no avail these companies never replied and have you noticed that some of these companies have a generic e-mail account such as xyz123@hotmail.com, only a few of them are legitimate businesses and if they are most likely they don't really have a work at home position. Homecareersearch is a scam and they should not be in business to rip off vulnerable consumers like us. When I say I have applied to every job posting, I mean every last one of them such as tech support, consulting, medical biller or sometimes jobs that I do not have the qualifications for as far as experience nor education. I have never gotten a response back from any company regardless of how well I've doctored up my resume.

The company emailed me back

Hello. It's me again w/ an update from yesterday. After I sent about a dozen emails and "threats", the company emailed me yesterday with a new password. It's been working good so far. They have 776 job listings, currently, which are updated a lot. I spent about 2 1/2 hours today going through every last one of them. They also offer an email agent which will email you job listings pertaining to certain key words/phrases which you have selected to be picked out. You can also apply online for certain jobs, post your resume, and save certain jobs as "hotjobs". I have applied for several. I will keep you all posted as for the results of my job search.
