Homeside Lending just raised my mortgage payment by $113.00 a month. They said this was due to a tax increase that took place back in 2000. They raised my mortgage $11.00 six months ago stating the same reason. When I inquired more I was told they made an error in their calculations and I would have had to pay even if they had caught their mistake a year ago. I would have rather been paying a smaller $25/month increase than a $113.00 increase now.
