The organization charges $50 for membership, which covers administrative costs to provide the student with support from the website and access to contacts. Leads are acquired through universities. At that point, an invitation is e-mailed to qualified students, directing them to the HonorSociety.org website where they’re able to watch an informational video and learn about the tools HonorSociety.org can provide. Once a student accepts the invitation, the team at the Honor Society explain the “the tangible steps for students to achieve their goals,” explains Ryan Evans, a representative of the company. At times, a student may not feel satisfied with the services they received. “One student asked for a refund, which was promptly given. [The Honor Society] has a no-questions-asked policy. The student did not feel that the Honor Society was a good fit for them since they had already graduated shortly after,” explains Mr. Evans. He further explains that this does happen from time to time. However, due to their no-questions-asked policy, refunds are promptly issued. Students are generally satisfied once this is done. “There is no further follow-up. The student tried the service, determined it wouldn’t work for their purposes and received their refund,” explains Mr. Evans. Website looks legitimate and the company even has a FAQ section on the commonly asked question on whether they are a legitimate company (see below). If you make the mistake of paying them $50.00 you will see that there are no networking tools & no "GradSpring" job boards. The link on their FAQ only verfies that they are a secure website so you can "trust" that they protect your credit card info on theirwebsite as they fraudulently charge you. There are no "college scholarships", "career services" or "member benefits".
They will however confirm that they have recieved your email and will provide an automatic ticket number assigned to your email.
