This place lied , manipulated not only did they forged the  credit application but forged a signature  on my $6000 check that was left in good faith with the dealer unsigned. I was lied about the contract being transferred under my name in 90 days i was manipulated to buy another new car and was told the down payment that was fraudulently taken was going to be applied to my new car that never happen . This place is a rip off i would not send my worst  enemy there. Rayne Hassan who said he is the

Owner seems to think it Is all right for his employees to lie and practice forgery. When I brought it to his attention he acted like it is an everyday ritual for them to lie and steal money from consumers. If you are thinking about going to this horrible establishment think again. Their customer service is ridicules. I am talking from first hand experience

Who the heck are you talking to?

AUTHOR: Robert - ()

You are talking about things that were never even asked or commented on.

But since you did...

Your biggest problem goes back to timming.  As near as I can figure out.  They cashed this $6,000 a week after you bought the car. You then went 90 days and then another 30(4 months in total) before you noticed they "forged" the check.  You see if the $6,000 withdraw wasn't legitimate 99.999999999999% of the people would have actually reported it to the police and bank when it first happened.  Because I don't know about you, but in my account that would be a significant dent in my balance. But not only that..you paid them another $2,500.  Since you didn't report this "fraud" when it happened..it sort of brings into question how much of a fraud it actually is.

Also, it can be just about guarantee that when you bought the car you signed something that stated you would pay them $6,000 on a certain date.  Where if they took the money before you may have a "breach of contract"..but no fraud.  After all an unsigned check is in effect just a piece of paper with your account and routing number.  The signed contract could override an unsigned check..in other words..no fraud.

Onto the forgery of the credit apps.  Well you still have been very unclear what the forgery was?  Did they lie about the income did they put someone elses name on it?  What was this forgery?  But even so you said you knew it was wrong but because they were managers you went along with it.  Nice try...so are you saying that if a manager goes and tells you it is okay to rob a bank, even though it is against your judgement you still will?

Then you of course have to ask if they were going to "forge" a credit application.  Why would they forge the ones who are disabled, with the BK and no job? Instead of the one with 4 Paid off cars...Umm....

Oh and on that..sorry but there is no way you have 4 paid off cars..well at least recently.  So either your credit is in the toilet or you are trying to get a car well above your means.  Of coruse if you are so expereiened in buying cars..why did you bring 4 people with you?

Look in the end..yes there are some car dealers that can be less than honest.  However, it appears that even if they were not honest with you.. you went right along with it.  Where based on your actions the "best" claim you may have is some sort of breach of contract.  Then this is also only based on what you have written.  Only you know the full story.  But if they did in fact forge your signature you may have some sort of case, but it would probably be offset by the contract and time that has passed..in other words you probably should not expect anyone to do "time" over this...but who knows.

So what exactly do you expect to gain if you get the $6,000 as "fraud".  Because the only thing that would happen is the bank would get your money back by taking it from the dealer.  The dealer in turn would then require you to still pay the $6,000 to them or they will reposess the car.

To whomever that feels the need to try and deflect the facts that
1) Toyota forged my signature. Did doesn't matter what it was for, no one is to sign for any legal binding documents other than the person themselves. But to answer your question, it was to "reserve" the last car on the lot that I was looking for. Rest assure, Police reports and my Bank are aware of this criminal matter.

2) Where in my statement did I say Julie fixed my credit? I stated, I did not ask or want her to fix my credit that is exactly what happened. Maybe you would take that opportunity, but I don't need anyone from a "dealership" to fix my credit.  Your sentence does not make sense to make it more clearly my credit was better than the co-signer they put in there. I have 4 cars PAID off while the co-signer has a bankruptcy and does not have job. Now make sense of that since you think you are so good at putting things together in a post were you are clueless. Those who want to get out of their bad credit situation do not seek help at a car dealership through a sales personal. I am not sure what world you in in, but the last time I checked sales people at a dealership specialize in selling cars not fixing credit. Actually you saying you would accept help from anyone with fixing your credit only shows me you’re a smart one!

3) Placing the contract in my friends name did not sound acceptable at first and I did object, but the fact that these "Managers" all confirmed and assured this happens every day and there's no problem, I rest my worries a little more at ease thinking, "these people in managerial positions wouldn't jeopardize their jobs and lie to me".

That Ma'am/Sir and where I am at fault, mistaking these people for people who actually care and are truthful.

So to deconstruct and conclude to the fact that I am not accepting fault is insulting and an error on your part! I was naive and trusting, trying to make a purchase on my own and ended up being victimized by a frequent Scam this business establishment commits!

I didn't feel a 3 page essay to capture every detail was necessary, rather highlights of the Ripoff.

Don't degrade the severity of the criminal actions this place has commenced nor presume I have not taken legal action.

This post is to forewarn and bring awareness, not a debate or persuasion. People can pay attention and be aware so this does not happen to them can read and avoid this nightmare, or they can read your boloney and get screwed like I did. I do not gain anything on here but giving awareness to the public. I let my attorney deal with the real matter.

Unlike you I don’t get paid to feed the public BS so if you are going to get on my post trying to debate on what I experienced just to get a paycheck, and  fix your Bosses mistakes I suggest ask them to pay for your acting school so you can sound more realistic and not just like an employee.

Again, take your business elsewhere than Hooman Toyota of Long Beach. They will rip you off!

I am here to warn people about this crooked dealerships the whole story is to long for me to explain but rest assure there Is a police as been made for the forgery! When I came to purchase a car I was I came with 5 people.  I was approached by a fast taker Julie sales women who was trying everything she can to sell me a car. When I picked the right car we when to the next step I filled out my application they ran my credit and said I was not qualified. Then Julie brings her financial manager in Bobby to talk to me, my friend, and sister. Mother and Aunt. To make a long story short they convinced us to run everyone’s credit to see who can cosign for me so the forged application was for my friend and my aunt. Who by the way is disabled, has a bankruptcy and not employed.

Bobby came back in and told my friend to put the car in her name and add my aunt as a cosigner. My friend explained to him she is in a process of her divorce and she and her husband are going to file bankruptcy so she didn’t want to do that. He explained that it will only be in their name for 90 days.  Then it would be transferred into my name alone.  We agreed to those terms only he made us agree to some gap insurance saying that it is the only way I would be able to take the car out of the  that day .

I explained to Bobby I am not able to bring my down payment in cash because the money is on hold for 7 days he said to leave a check and when the money clears I would bring him cash. Handed him a Check with the without signing it. I asked him to make me a copy for my recipe and he did. Witch in this case I am glad he did. The care was given to me and we left. On my 7th day I came into my bank to withdraw the funds so I can bring it to the dealerships. I was then told the funds have been already withdrawn. When I asked how they told me Hooman Toyota cashed it. I got on the phone and called the finance managers Bobby who then told me that my check was accidently deposited by the dealership electronically.  Let me make something very clear to you before you doubtful mind goes off wondering, I receive statements not the actual checks.  I made the payments for 90 days when I took the car off the lot I had to use my insurance.

I came back 90 days to get the car transferred to my name as was promised in front of 5 witnesses. Bobby called his vice president in the office with us explaining to him that he made this agreement with me. I was told by Ryne the vice president to come back Monday and we will work everything out. I came back Monday and asked to see Bobby and Ryne and was told that Bobby no longer works for them and he was fired. Ryne then started to tell he wasn’t able to transfer the car into my name but what he could do is get me a great deal on another one id pick. I picked the exact same care only in red this time. He then told me I had to put another $2500 because he has to pay license and registration  I told me I already put $6000 that was taken out of my bank he then told me that would be applied to my car when I get approved with a lender . I received one contract then they called me back inside the next day to have me fill out another contract for a lower interest rate  I waited another 30 days and called to see why my $6000 was not applied to my account yet. He had the nerve to tell me he did not do the sale therefore he is not even sure I made a $6000 down payment. I went to my bank and request a copy of my check so I can bring to the dealership when I seen the actual check I was in disbelief someone from Hooman Toyota signed the check. The signature didn’t even come close to mine I received all the paper work from my bank and headed to the dealership. I showed this vice president the actual copy of my recipe and the copy of the check the bank handed me with shows the signature doesn’t even comes close. He told me he would talk to his partner and see what he can do. I left and went to file a police report. Hopefully you understand now and won’t make the same mistake in trusting this fraudulent dealership. The legal part of this matter is being handled now.

I am a consumer who is warning people about this place you can take it or leave it and play at your own risk.

The whole story?

AUTHOR: Robert - ()

So what is the full story?

If you say they forged your Credit Application did you not even fill one out?  If not then why would you leave a $6,000 check UNSIGNED as "good faith".  If it is unsigned it is just a piece of paper..no "faith" about it.  Since this was a forgery..what did you sign that gave them a sample of what your signature looked like?

But then you complain about them forging a Credit App, and on the check. But the very next contract you seem to indicate that you actually bought a car...or someone bought a car and was going to transfer it to you????

Of course if they did forge your signature..why haven't you gone to the police?
