Buyer beware. I was recommended to this financial institution by a real estate investor. The contact person I dealt with was John Herrick. He was offering me different types of funding for real estate investing. During the initial process he was extremely unavailable and aloof regarding the particulars of his funding. After a rather lengthy phone tag process he recommended me to a credit repair company they work with. This struck me as very unusual because my bacon score was well over 700 and I was able to qualify for mortgages and auto loans as well as many unsecured loans. His explanation was that there were derogatory hits from several years ago that needed to be removed before we could move forward. I went along trusting this man and paid this credit repair company 3,000 dollars. Now I did question this to Mr. Herrick and when I did I was made to feel as if I was wrong to question their methods and he even threatened to not "recommend" me for qualification to his boss and owner of the company. So, i went forward with the process. I paid 3,000 and never heard from these credit repair people again. I tried to contact them and Mr. Herrick and never had my calls or concerns addressed. So fast forward about a year. I since cancelled the credit repair service by ending the monthly fee I was being assessed on top of the 3 grand I paid. I finally received a call from Mr. Herrick. I politely told him that I was extremely dissatisfied thanked him and ended the call. Mr Herrick then proceeded to text me asking if we could please talk about my dissatisfaction. I appreciated the effort at this point and politely responded that we had nothing to discuss unless he was willing to refund my 3,000 dollars. His next text message stated that he never took me as a "quitter" and didn't I want to get value for my money. Well here is my response. I am not a quitter and i found it extremely unprofessional for him to imply that I was simply because I choose to end any further dealings with a company that did not deliver what was promised. I saw absolutely zero improvement in  my credit score or any proof of any work being done to make that happen. I did not appreciate the unprofessional manner in which Mr. Herrick chose to handle my account from the very beginning culminating into the ridiculously late follow up and subsequent insulting texts. Buyer beware!! Do not conduct business with this company, any of their affiliates or Mr. Herrick.
