I was a dealer for Millinnum Plus GPS Tracking Systems. These were supposedly made by Horizon Technologies LLC. I orginally got into this business in November, 2007. Everything semed very up front and legit. I paid $2000.00 to get a dealership and a personal device which I had installed. Then I got a call from their advertising department about a postcard campaign. After several minutes of quite high pressure sales taticts they convinced me to purchase this canpaign for an additional $1800. These postcards were to go out in three seperate mailings. After the first mailing there was one (1) response which never went anywhere. In April 2008 there was another mialing that went out and again I received one (1) response. This one also went down a dead end street. I had advertised on several internet advertising sites with marginal results. However, I was never able to sell anything.

Then last year in September 2008 a friend was real interested in purchasing one of the units. I tried to log onto my web site to show him how it worked. But my system was offline. After calling the tech support we were able to get things up and running again. All this time everything seemed very professional.

On February 1, 2009 I tried to call Horizon Tech because I was unable to access my web site and got a message that said all circuits were busy and to call back later. I tried every day since then several times only to get the same message.

This is now February 9, 2009 and I decided to call the Chamber of Commerce in Tempe and they informed me that they had receive other calls inquiring about Horizon Tech but had no information. They gave me the BBB phone number in Tempe which I immediately called only to find out that the company Horizon Technologies and it's parent company had all closed up and they had no further information about them.

To say I have been ripped off is a gross understatement. Horizon Tech actually had the audicity to withdraw the $25.00 from my checking accout in January 2009 for my web site hosting which wasn't even working any more.
In closing I guess I have to say a resounding YES Horizon Technologies is a major rip off and I'm pissed.

Stop the automatic drafts

AUTHOR: Russell - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, February 13, 2009

My bank told me the only way to stop Millinnum Plus from taking the automatic drafts form my debitcard was to cancel my card and get a new one issued. A lot of hassle I know but that $25.00 a month reallly catches in my craw. So I did it.
