In my line of work, I see an awful lot of companies, like House of Brides do things to the consumer that are blatantly criminal.
Most consumers immediate response is to go to the BBB. This organization is practically worthless in truly handling consumer complaints.
A FAR better resource for consumers is the Fedreal Trade Commission website at www DOT FTC DOT gov.
I can't post the link for some reason but you get my drift.
Also, your credit card company is on YOUR side, NOT the merchants. Tell them specifically that House of Brides is not shipping any merchandise and to issue an immediate charge back to your account.
Don't let these theives Rip you Off.
