someone stole my purse w my iphone in it and booked a trip and hotwire wont give my money back but they did cancel the trip.

If what you claim here is true, you are the victim of theft and the minute you reported the card as stolen and the charges as fraudulent to your credit card company, they'd cover the charge... you don't even really need to deal with Hot Wire at all.

However, if you didn't actually report the cards stolen and you're just trying to scam a refund on a non-refundable trip, you're probably out of luck.
