I ordered a book from hotbooksale on the internet because it was cheeper than Amazon. I did not realize that the company had added a membership to smartsavings inside the terms and conditions. The book came late so they charged me $1 twice in the same month for some thing or other and $29.95 for membership because I did not cancel within 7 days. How could cancel something I did not realize I had joined? THis seems to be getting quite common on the internet and I usually catch these schemes.
I am sick and tired of these people ripping good people off! There must be someway to by a product with out getting ripped off. According to the BBB hotbook and smartsavings are the same company. I strongly feel that if your purchasing something, the price needs to be included in the order. I am sure this company has made a ton of money off of unsuspecting people and they need to be shut down.
