On 10/28/2014 I was contacted by a man from Hotprospector.com who introduced himself to me as Kyle Finney. Kyle gave me a pitch that I could have my phones ringing off the hook with the Hot Prospector Mass Emailer! Everything I needed as a sender to create and send high converting email campaigns by the thousands. He said that there was nothing to download so I could to start blasting outhuge profit pulling campaigns in minutes.

He also said, "Your Satisfaction Is 100% Guaranteed" which is also writtten on their sign up page https://hotprospector.com/register.php. Kyle said that if I did everything that they show me to do and used their email system but did not receive any results, they would ssue a full refund so I agreed to sign up for a month to try the service. He demanded a setup fee of $500 and $97 monthly subscription. I gave him my counter offer and told him that I was going to pay $250 for the set up fee and $97 monthly subscription based on the fact that there was a 100% satisfaction guarantee and a money back gurantee. He also, promised that he would give me a tour of the dashboard so that I would know how to use the system to take advantage of it. But, he did not get back with me after I signed up.


Several days went by and when I did not hear back from him after leaving a few phone messages, I thought that he left the company so I should contact the main office. Well, upon caling them, he returned my call and said that he had set up the system already for me and that he had already sent emails out that could be verified by me. So, I logged into the dashboard and saw that there were over 6 thusand real estate agents emaila addresses in the system and that all of them were sent the first introductory email on my company's behalf. However, there was no response from any of them.

Later, there were instructions given to me to downlaod another piece of software for the leads, and to use the system in a certain ways which also did not yield any fruitful resluts. There were a few email exchanges and phone calls made then Mark Helton the owner also became invloved but remained diverting my demand for the refund by offering different alternatives and in the latest phone conversation when I requested to be allowed speak so that he could understand my reason for the demand of the refund, he simply refused to listen to me, he said, "No, I will not listen to you".

Upon receiving Mark's threatening email after the phone conversation, I have written the following comment and posted it with his email under several of Marks' training and sales videos on YouTube under comments to share with the other business owners who may decide to do business with HotProspector.com and Mark Helton my experience od doing business with them in black and white.

Hotprospector.com has had my ip address blocked within days and did not keep their promise of the refund. There was no response to three campaigns that were set and sent. Mark Helton is a highly argumentative and cheap sounding person who yelled at me during my phone conversation with him when I demanded the refund which was within my rights. The only think I can tell you is that just be careful doing business with this company and his sales agents.
And, now Mark has sent me the following email:

What are your bases on dispute? By filing a dispute you will be taking money back for services rendered (email campaigns written by our team) and will also be breaking the terms of conditions that you signed.
 
You do not qualify for a refund but I would gladly assist you in use of the software for best results. If decide to dispute the transaction I will file be forced to file a small claims lawsuit against your company and get a judgment for the $500 plus court and legal fees. We have proof of your login history and correspondence with myself, Kyle and my company to prove our side.
 
This makes no sense to take it to that level because I’ve no problem working with you but you are simply not interested in any side but your own. If you would like to come to the table, I am waiting.

I have received the following email from Mark Helton on Tue 03, March, 2015

"Saeed,

I just wanted to let you know that I’ve thought a lot about our conversation and how it ended a few weeks back and am disappointed that I allowed it to get to that level. After taking some time to reflect I would like to attempt to make it up to you.  Do you have some time on your calendar to speak?

I hope you will allow me an opportunity to make this right.

Mark Helton"

Upon receiving this email and speaking with Mark over the phone, he offered me the full refund which I declined and told him that I was not concerned about the money so much so as generating my own leads. I asked him if he would instead of refunding just help me learn the correct ways of generating leads via the email marketing and he agreed to do that.

Mark has already set me up with his new video prospecting system for one month and provided the orientation also. I thank him deeply for doing the right thing and I know that it must have been difficult but he proved to be an ethical business owner after all.
