hotwire, hotwire.com Deceptive Practices on Hotel Star Ratings, Internet

Hotwire will sucker punch you into booking a room.   I was offered a 3 star hotel in Danbury CT for $78.  Great deal right?  Particularly since Hotwire said the competitive sites are charging $169 for this very same room.  So I booked it.  Hotwire then disclosed the name...Best Western.  Then checked the other sites like Hotel.com, Priceline, and Expedia. 

They rated the hotel as either a 2 or 2 1/2 star hotel.  And every single site had the hotel for $89! So I got scammed.  Called Hotwire to discuss how I was mis-lead by them.  They had an excuse for their deceptive business practices.  Doesn't matter what other sites charge, or their classification of accommodation, Hotwire stands by their lies. I will NEVER use Hotwire again.
