This company is filled with unprofessional scammers that refuse to fix their errors and they refused to let me speak to a MANAGER. I was booking a hotel that they said was in the Airport area and that had a shuttle bus. During my several attempts to book their website kept sending showing me error messages that they could not process my request. Finally when my request for a hotel was processed they put me in the wrong hotel because the hotel I had booked had amenities such as shuttle service, and located in the airport area, etc. When I called to complain about the glitch in their system I was met by condescending attitudes and they refused to help me they just wanted to keep my money. The hotel that their system mistakenly booked me at was in a drug area filled with thugs and the staff doesn't answer their phones at all. I called HOTWIRE again and they cancelled the reservation and I never got checked in. Hotwire will not refund me my money back eventhough they made a mistake. They even said they emailed me a cancellation confirmation by email that I never received. They said they can only send it once YET their system never even sent it the Cancellation email to me. When I asked to speak to a MANAGER they hung up on me and then when I called back they still wouldn't put me on the phone with a MANAGER they put me on the phone with a supervisor who sounded as if she was half asleep. I begged over and over a again for them to send me the cancellation confirmation email and she said they did already and can only send it once. But when I looked all over in my email account including my spam box there was no such email sent. They had no interest in helping me and looking into their computer errors they were just hell bent on keeping my money. They wouldn't even put a real MANAGER on the phone they just kept telling me the manager is gonna tell me the same thing they're telling me. I said back to them that well I rather hear that from a MANAGER but they still refused and kept using condescending tones while refusing to refund my money. I didn't request to pay for a hotel without shuttle service and that's located in a drug dealing ghetto YET that's what I got. I feel violated and ripped off. I will never use this company again. They make their customers pay for their errors. I broke down in tears while developing a pounding headache due to the lack of customer satisfaction and them keeping $89.97 for a room type I never booked. Hotwire.com needs to give me my money back and fix their faulty computer system. If they can't deliver the services that they advertise then I shouldn't have to pay for that. They need to give me my money. I see why they say all bookings are final because they're an incompetent bunch of unprofessional money hungry vultures that's out to take people's money even if they can't deliver the hotels they say they have available. Cross bookings and refusing to send a cancellation confirmation email due to a faulty computer system on their end is what I had to deal with. And never have I ever been refused and blocked from speaking to a MANAGER by a company after they took money from me. They need to refund me my money and get new staff in place and a geek squad to come fix their computer systems.
