I paid this guy for the merchandise he seemed to be offering.  After entering my credit card and being charged, I got an e-mail back telling me that he was wrong about his inventory, and he didn't have the stuff I wanted, and then came back with some lame consolation prize for "20% off" for a hypothetical future purchase (as if!).

What's strange is that he wasn't apparently wrong about one of his offerings, but both of the items I wanted to order.  I can understand one, but... both???

Three weeks later, and I have yet to get my money.  This is probably just a temporary glitch having to do with the fact that I ordered from Newman through Atomic Avenue, and they have a middleman system for everything they do.  They have always been trustworthy; it's mostly Newman that's the problem.

It's really unfortunate that the otherwise usually good folk at Atomic Avenue are protecting this guy.  They should understand that their system of payment not only to vendors, but to customers makes them liable when something goes wrong.  Not only that, but he was allowed to get away with doing this and the feedback option for this order was removed even though the e-mail I got from them says I should still be able to put feedback for a cancelled order.  Thank god for the Ripoff Report, is all I can say!

Watch out for Marc Newman.  Do not place any orders with him, tell everyone who collects what he pretends he's selling, posing as a legitimate business, to avoid him like the plague, and demand that Atomic Avenue stop protecting him!  Hell, tell them to kick him to the curb, and remove him as a vendor entirely.
