HOUSEHOLD BANK PLATINUM I paid card off in full, I wanted to cancel, they put me on hold, waived the fee. Now they are sendig bill for $39 and l& $30 late fee. Salinas California

I paid my card off in full. I called Household to cancel my card. They asked why & I told them I did not want tothe card & pay $39.00 a yr for card any longer. They told me to hold on came back &* said they waived the fee. I go the fella name & ID number and he was in Phillipines. thought that was the end. Then I get a bill the following month for the $39.00, I called &* got such double talk , got that girls ID number and name and told her I was not paying $39.00 car that I had cancelled and repeated the information from fella that said it was waived. She started aruging with me & I told her again I wanted to cancel this card and I was not Paying $39.00 my card was paid in full.

NOw I get a BILL for $39.00 plus they added a $30.00 late fee. I am furious. I am being held up !!! All I did was pay my bill on time and paid it off and then wanted to cancel my card. What is wrong??? How do you fight these absurb Robbers from hurtin gthe innocent public?? this is shear robbery.

I held my end of the deal and did not renag on my payments !! All I did was cancle my card now that it was paid in full.
