Household Credit Services Dba Orchard Bank ripoff Batimore Maryland

I have recently been ripped off by orchard bank. I was late for a payment so I made the payment over the phone making the payment out of my bank account. Orchard bank charged me the late fees ($ 29) and the pay by phone fees ($12.95). then they charged me the $12.95 amount two more times and $ 14.50 returned payment fees three times saying that my bank did not honor the payment and they tried three times.

When I checked with my bank yesterday, I was told that orchard bank never tried to collect the money out of my account. My bank also told me that they have no reason not to honor the payment to orchard bank since I had enough money to make the payment out of my account. My bank has agreed to join me fight this evil known as orchard bank.

Coincidently, I was watching a very good program titled "the secret history of credit cards" on PBS (frontline) on November 26, 2004 when I learned that these companies do things of that nature since their main income is charges like the late fees etc. The office of comptroller of currency in D. C. has the jurisdiction over the national banks and their website address can be found using the key word OCC.
