Household Finance - HSBC Mortgage Services Ripoff!! Fraudulent Early Filing to Release Us From Bankruptcy Protection! Brandon Florida

Three years ago, my husband became very ill and could not work. He kept thinking he would get better, so he did not go to the doctor, two weeks later, he was sick enough that our son and I could drag him to the doctor where he was immediately hospitalized. A week later he was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes. We became behind in our mortgage payments to HSBC due to no insurance to cover my husband's time off, etc.

I had tried to make a deal with HSBC and double our house payments so we could remain current and pay our back payments, they would not accept our terms, it was all or nothing, we did not have all so the company forced us into bankruptcy just to save our house. Bankruptcy has been hard for us.

In November, our sewer pipes backed up into our dining room, we needed to fix this immediately, we did not have time to go back into court and ask for permission, nor did we have the extra money to pay a lawyer to represent us in this matter. $4000.00 dollars later and a dug up yard and a dug up driveway, we found our problem to be the tree roots across the street. Under whatever laws exist today, we could not force the man across the street to pay half or any money towards our problem nor can we force him to cut down his tree. We had to pay the $4000.00 back and still try to pay our house payments, yes, we got behind again.

We have been working solely on our house payments and just this month we got caught up, finally. It has been a herculean effort, but we were thrilled to finally get the monkey off our back, or so we thought. My son, bless his heart, gave me some money so that I could leave the 2nd week in June and drive to a family reunion, I was gone five days, while I was gone, Household Finance or HSBC had their attorneys file for a Release from Bankruptcy Protection, even though they had been paid and were up todate. According to their attorney, sorry, can't fix that. According to my attorney it can't be fixed either and we are at their mercy. My God, how do they get by with this stuff? In previous encounters with HSBC they would 'sit' on our checks and they would 'sit' on our money transfers making it appear to the court that we were behind in our payments, according to a rep. from HSBC, I should send money orders, so I have been. According to my attorney, money orders are hard to trace. Now I am stuck with the task of trying to get MoneyGram to furnish me with proof that the money orders were cashed, etc.

The attorneys act like I should have the money to send our house payments in Cashier's checks and ceertified mail so that a signature is acquired everytime I send in a payment. I cannot afford that. I am dealing with an unscrupulous mortgage company who has tried to rip us off at every turn and may have finally done it. My family and I have been abused and are completely at the mercy of a rip off mortgage company and now we may have lost our house because they fraudulently filed for a release from bankruptcy protection when we were paid and up to date. I don't know what to do.
