I hired Mr. Gregory & Housurgeon, Inc. to do general contracting work at my home.
When I asked for an accounting status of the work he had completed to date. Mr. Gregory became belligerent and verbally abusive.
Only part of the work was completed on the contract so I had over paid him for the work he had done.
Not only did I over pay him, he tried to bill me an additional $3,000 over and above the over payment.
Mr. Gregory & Housurgeon, Inc. refuses to refund my money. I have a lawsuit pending.
Typical contractor - trying to ripoff an older person. How would he feel if this happened to his mother or father? This guy has no morals or values.

My name is Wayne Gregory, owner / operator of Housurgeon Inc.
Mrs Moseley contracted me to do a master suite remodel which was going well, until she decided to put the rest of the job off due to family issues. When she asked me for a cost to date amount, she was expecting it to be lower.
Mrs Moseley was due an approximate $400 refund from her initial deposit, which I offered but she refused and proceded to file a lawsuit, post unsubstantiated, unfounded reviews of my company on Angies List and the internet, just to name a few.
The fact of the matter is, 90% of the initial deposit was used and accounted for. Since I didn't state in my contract, time loss or job delays out of my control, when we had our day in court, the judge didn't grant my counter claim. Nor did he grant hers.
As for the verbal abuse. I was the recipient.
If I've learned one thing from this, it's (you can't make everyone happy all of the time.)
This is the first time something like this has ever happened to me in my years of business and hopefully my last.
My reputation speaks for itself. Most of my business is by word of mouth. You don't get good referrals by being verbally abusive with your clients.
