HR Block not returning tax return ripoff Carrollton Texas

went to the HR Block in the city of the colony to have my 2005 tax returns prepared. Sally, I believe that was her name because she gave me a card without her name on it, prepared my taxes. She said that the previous accountant who prepared my returns made an error on my 2004 tax return. She said he made a "rooky mistake" by putting a negative amount rather than just putting a zero.

She offered to amended it at no charge and wanted to keep it for office training. I trusted her and agreed. A few weeks later, Sally left me a message on my voicemail saying that the amended tax return was ready to be picked up. The next day I went to the office and noticed that the office was closed.

I called another branch in Carrollton and spoke to Ron the manager. He told me that someone is there till 7 pm although I was there at 6 30 pm and the office was closed. He told me that since the offices are now closed that all the documents and files will be delivered to his office in Carrollton for storage.

Ron assured that he will call me when the office that filed my return will bring the files and documents the next day. I haven't heard from Ron and so I had to call him to follow up. He told me that my 2004 amended tax return was ready to be picked up at the Carrollton office before 5 pm. I told him that I have a floatating schedule and wasn't able to leave work before 5 pm.

Ron mentioned that I would be able to pick my documents up next Tuesday till 7 pm that someone will be in the office, however he will not be in the entire week. The following Tuesday, I called the office to confirm and get directions to pick up my 2004 amended tax return. Susan told me that they were ready and gave me directions. A half an hour later she called me back telling me that they were done yet, that something schedule A and C were missing from the branch.

I asked her when these schedules would be available. She literally told me "I don't know." She told me she would call me next week. It is now Tuesday the following week and I called Ron asking when I can pick up my 2004 tax return. He told me that we should never have amended them and that Susan will give me a call before 7 pm.

At 6 pm I called the office again and finally Susan picked up the phone and she literally told me that she doesn't have time to take care of my case, that they were still not amended and me calling her is wasting her time. This conversation has been recorded since I used my company's phone to call her and all my conversations are being recorded.

I have been desperately trying to receive my 2004 tax return. I have been given the run around and have not been given a time as to when they will be available. I told them that I am relocating and that I would like to pick them up and take them with me. Did they maybe lose them and giving me the run around?
