I financed a computer package from Bestbuy for my mother. We picked it up in March 2005. I applied for "90 days same as cash" payment plan. I received a Bestbuy card (which I have never used), plus a Master Card Credit Card in the mail. I shredded the Master Card and kept the Bestbuy card. My mother makes her payments on time, but Retail services statements still show a balance of over $600 on a computer package that originally was priced at $798 in 2005. She has sent double the minimum plus extra and the balance is still showing no signs of lowering. I think we are going to sell the computer for what we can get and send in the balance that Retail Services says I owe. I will never by anything from Best Buy again!

CREDIT CARD MIN PAYMENT ARE NO DESIGNED TO PAY OFF A DEBT ESSPECIALLY WHEN THE INT RATE IS AS HIGH AS A RETAIL CC IF YOU WANT TO PAY OFF A RETAIL CARD IN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME YOU HAVE TO PAY AT LEAST DOUBLE THE MIN PAYMENT. ALSO BEING MAD AT A STORE IS IS LIKE BEING MAD AT YOUR HEAD BECAUSE YOUR NOSE IS BLEEDING. UNLESS YOU GOT A 0%,DEAL ALWAYS PAY A RETAIL ACCT ASAP
