HSBC Auto accounts This company has a lien on our 1993 toyota which we bought out right 20 years ago my husband died a few month ago and i wanted to give it to my neighbor and when i went to get a new title because i couldnt find mine they said there was a lien on it. Then i read all these scams and this is fraud. I will take them to court if i have to. Sacremento California California

My husband and I bought a used car about 19 to 20 years ago a Toyota Paseo.  We traded in our Jeep and paid the car off.  My husband died in the last 3 months and his car which barkly runs was sitting in my yard.  So, i gave it to my neighbor because he likes to fix cars.  I went to the tag agency yesterday to get a duplicate title and found out it had a lien on it. 

Yes the 1993 Toyota we bought in full over 19 yesrs ago had a lien.  The only thing i coukld do was write to the supposed company to a PO Box.  So I did and I told them they had til the end of the month to come and get the car.  I am not paying these scam artists anything .  Then i look on the comuter while trying to find a phone number and I see all these scams.  So beware of these people and never pay them a dime.  If i have to take them to court I will.
