Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...
We are trying to get our credit card paid off by paying monthly. This month HSBC charged 59.00 for annual fee assessed!!! This caused the balance go back up and harder to get it paid off. The economy is so bad, what is HSBC thinking? Pres Obama did warned credit card companies not to do that.

Annual fees

Many credit cards have annual fees. You need to look at your rate sheet for explanation. President Obama may or may not like these fees, but they are legal until congress decides to outlaw them.
Credit card companies are well within their rights to charge these fees, and they were disclosed to you when you opened the account. If you don't like the annual fee, you probably should have gotten a different credit card.
