Warning I took out a loan with HSBC Home Mortage, when I was laid off in March 06, we discussed everything, it was ok to hold payment until I was back to work.

On July 1st I was back to work with another company making great money. When we sent the first payment it, they returned the checks and stated that the home was in foreclosure, I had not heard anything of this nature. In order to save the house, I am required to pay about $8,000, I have about 3/4 of it but they will not negotiate, my house will sell in
August. The b** are taking my home from my son, I could be caught up by the end of September with all fines and all.

I was told by their represenatives tuff we are in the money business. I understand that, and I am willing to pay the money. Instead I will be filling a chapter 13 immediately (cost $3,000) in order to stop the foreclosure.

FL Girl HSBC Rep????

AUTHOR: Roy - (U.S.A.)

Your attack of calling me ignorant is uncalled for. If you are familiar with HSBC then you are aware that Supervisors are not available! You should also know that the promise to have a supervisor return calls never occurs.
HSBC enjoy your home, I am moving back to my other home in Indiana.

Also, if you had actually read and analyzed what I wrote, then you would have understood, that I would have been able to correct the problems by the end of September, which means I would have repaid all fees and late payments.

Maby you are the Ignorant one HSBC/Florida Girl...

The more things I read on here the funnier they get. I realize that there are legitimate complaints on this site and yes there are people who are ripped off. What surprises me the most is all are the false complaints....

I'm sorry for you feeling ripped off Roy, but I'm curious of your age and maturity level to believe that a company will permanently place your payments on hold until you find a job.
I really hope that this complaint was filed by someone who is 19 or 20 and this happens to be there first mortgage. Unfortunately, I don't think it is.

No company in there right mind would give you a loan and not require repayment. If you were told that, I would have questioned it to a supervisor, another rep, or customer service. I would then proceed to continue questioning it until I have exhausted all resources and then still doubt that it is true and make my payment anyway.

I don't understand why with the largest and most technologically advanced country in the world do we have some of the most ignorant people too. I guess that is how the cards got dealt.....sigh'
