HTOA-Holiday Travel Of America Scam-Bait and Switch Practice- Calsbad, California

American Travelers be aware from this company - HTOA 

First of all, I read reports filed by all others and based on my experience. they are true to the best of my knowledge. 

Regretfully, I wised I have read their reports in opposition of HTOA, thus will help me from becoming the next victim with their scam-oriented business practice. 

In my report, I have disagreement against their practice of :

1)Bait and Switch
A)they will keep asking for your willingness to UPGRADE  (with a quote I got for $1400 for two for a 5 nights investment WITHOUT/ Excluding Airfare... !!   
2)Build their business AT YOUR EXPENSES of 
A)initial required $100 for all associated taxes ...etc
B)Time
C)Efforts in Participation
D)Opportunity Cost

In summary: 
My participation to be lured by attending their presentation, receive a travel voucher for two to Hawaii. (With prepaid $100 for Associated Taxes, to be Mailed in first to secure a timely benefit before expiration.)  
Signed personal information of 
A)Names of Two
B)A signed Check
C)Personal Information of Email/ Address/ Phone numbers...etc. 
***  And who knows what they use it for.

They ask you to call back 45 days to 60 days Prior to the reserved travel dates for confirmation. 

After committing to 3 reservations dates AND told with some kind of run around reasons of lack of ....?

AND, still with no commitment to fulfill their binding promises.  

I got a wake up call and re-evaluated how they make profit at all My-EXPENSES  and plus so many other victims unknowingly. 

I made my formal complain with their customer manager with class AND decided to file and pose this Consumer-Awareness Rip-Off Report. 

In addition, if anyone know a better way to make an investigation / litigation to find out the truth. Please don't hesitate. 

Lastly, I am surprised to know that their business-practice has been some years at least and I simply can't believe there's never had any investigation or litigation from the authorities for justification. 

If this is the way how America runs the business.  Then, I will not hold my faith for a better economy.  Perhaps this is the NEW-ECONOMY - SCAMMING every one. 

This is a Wake-up call.
