HUffines Chrysler Jeep Trade Value Rip-Off Plano Texas

I recently went shopping for my 6th Jeep! I decided to shop around for the best deal just like any consumer. I decided that a "volume" dealership would be the best place to go.

I completed the credit application, brought only one of my vehicles for trade valuation, and then became totally shocked. A gentleman that introduced himself as the "Finance Director" said that I would have to come up with $12,500 down at minimum. I told him this was out of the question. I know my credit is far from perfect, but I had already been accepted by another lender from another dealership.

When I asked my salesperson what my trade values where he said $6500.00 for this one and $6000.00 for the other vehicle. The other dealership had already offered me $7,700.00 for vehicle #1 and $9,000 for vehicle #2. This was on the purchase of an idenitical vehicle at two seperate dealerships. The purchase price on the subject vehicle had been matched at $21,500.00.

To add insult to injury, I went home and immediately began looking up the trade values of my vehicles using another Jeep dealership in the area that will honor the onlince trade evaluation site that is listed on their homepage. When I did this, Vehicle #1 has a range of $7,900-$9,465 and Vehicle #2 has a range of $8,245-$10,385.....even if only average of these values were used it is a total variance of $5,540.00 that I was short changed on my trade values.

Please also keep in mind, I was one of two customers in that huge dealership at that time, which was about an hour....Someone that desperate for busines should not be trying to rip off the few customers that they have!
