Mr. Hughes asked for, and received, a personal loan from me On Mardh 6, 2008, in the amount of $300.00 for emergency purposes with a promise to repay on March 9, 2008. He failed to meet that deadline and failed subsequent commitments to repay as of May 3, 2008.
Mr. Hughes claimed that the loan would be used for essential componentry nedded to construct Chem-Free products for marketing under the name of Hughes Marine Environmental Technologies, LLC. Legal recourse is pending as a matter of criminal fraud.

This is slander against Hughes Marine Environmental Technologies. This company did not start operation until October 1, 2008. This is an attempt to harm one of the owners, because of their political views.

The person who made this complaint was not ripped off! He was a personal friend of my husband. He did make a personal loan to my husband for $300.00 (there was no note). He was paid back with in a reasonable time, and 10% was added to that loan for interest. This was done to harm my husband because of his political views, which Manshadow takes great issue with. He is now bragging around town what he did to Ken. Manshadow is a very little man! This was done deliberately to harm Ken Hughes.
