Hughes Net is a joke. I have been with them for about 4yrs because i have no other options and my company pays for my service. I can not evenbegin to warn you about speeds. I am on the business pro plan and suppose to get speeds of 1500kbps or around 1200 on average. See below for actuals.

This is just a subset and a direct cut/paste from Hughes Net own speed test. Darn near dial up speeds. This is almost 100x slower than advertised. I have a long history with these people. I did get to the office of the president and pasted contact info below.

I have recieved upgraded service free of charge three times now. Tomorrow I am being put on spaceway, their new state of the art satellite for free. So, they will try to work with you. They have also provided several credits to my account. They have admitted there
Network is saturated at this time but management keeps pushing for new accounts. What a joke. I will admit their exec customer care does try to help but they have admitted to me several time they cannot come close to meeting advertised speeds. All service providers have some slow speeds but these guys are the worst. I hope the BBB or somebody can finally get to the management folks.

I will post an update once I get on spaceway. If you contact Hughes just demand they put you on spaceway for free.
