I signed up for HughesNet in about September, 07. I was not informed of the fair access policy at that time, nor any time in the future until I went over my allowance a few months later. I have called this company several times regarding their billing practices and get the same thing....Nothing! I have no other high speed alternative here in the country except dial up, which is sometimes faster then the service I get from Hughesnet, even when I havent reached their FAP. Their cost is astronomical, for the service, or lack there of, that we get.

Today, I attampt to access the internet via IE and I get their redirect page. My bill isnt due until the 28th of this month and its only the 18th. They tell me I must pay the balance due to get the page to disappear and access the internet. If I am unable to use the service, then why should I be paying for the service? It's like taking your clothes to the dry cleaners, them not cleaning the clothes and then being forced to pay for their service to get the dirty clothes back. Now does that make any sense?

I asked for a supervisor, who gave me the same run around, and asked for her supervisor. I was told there was no one else. Upon asking her if she owned the company, she tells me no. Is she is CEO or Vice-President, she tells me no. So there is someone above her but she refused to transfer, give me the number or tell me who to contact. I have filed a report with the BBB, but dont know if that will help or not! I am beyond aggrivated!
