Over one year ago I began recieving faxes, I recieve one about every 3 or 4 days. This is the strangest fax i have ever recieved.
Im not sure why they are sending me these faxes and Im not even sure who is sending them.
The faxes have very little information. At the top of the fax it says in bold leters MEMO, then its says
To: All Corporate Employees,
From: Human Resources Dept.
The fax goes on to offer a vacation package. Then it says in bold letters FINAL NOTICE, which in itself is kinda funny since i have recieved hundreds of these faxes for over a year and they all say Final Notice.
Finally I called a phone number at the bottom of the sheet that says " to no longer recieve this promotion call this number" 1-800-572-1225. I called the number and they said they would stop the faxes, of course they did not. I have called this number several times and the faxes continue to come.
I then called the other number at the top of the sheet 1-800-975-8340, I asked the man who answered to stop the faxes, he was very rude, he made some statement like " yeah right", then hung up on me.
I dont know who these people are , I dont know how they got my fax number, i dont know why they continue to send these faxes when I have clearly asked them to stop.

It is nothing more than telemarketing via fax. The company that faxed it probably bought the fax number (along with a whole list of other fax numbers) as they do with innocent citezens' phone numbers. I wonder if you can add the fax number to the "do not call" registry, or if there is something similar to that for fax numbers. I really hope that no one responds to those vacation offers - which is usually some really exotic vacation for like 100 bucks, know what I mean? Obviously there is a catch. It sucks that they are that difficult about being removed from the list. I usually just throw them away.
