I hired a Attorney to help in the adoption of my grandson & Grand-daughter who was placed in the foster home. This attorney shown little or no intrest in the case, for me, I assume that was because I had a creditable attorney and a good case. as the weeks turn into months I was getting somewhat worried, I began noticing this attorney would dismiss certain evidence, documents and witness to help in my case.

This attorney would not let us know what was done on our behalf in any court appearances, hearing reviews, it appear to me that he was just allowing the defenant more advantages in the cases.

My granddaughter was placed in our custody, the foster mother appeal to have her removed from our home. This attorney was out of reach for a court appearance, I called the attorney via phone and was told, how do you feel, when this child was suppose to be given to you, you have to give her back.

He stated, my response was "this is my grandchild" she shared a room with her sister" this is tramatic for both of these sibling, it appear this attorney was bored listening to me pleading to him. My statement was "I have Faith in you"

Last week, after a court hearing myself and husband tried to question his action to the hearing, this attorney put his hand in my husband face in an attempt, to stop my husband questions, This attorney stated, " It's your case to loose", you dont want to upset the Judge, you dont want the state attorney involved" right there! I get this gut feeling that this attorney was not fighting for our cause, (our grandchildren)

I immediately worte a letter to this attorney and thank him in his effort in the adoption cases however, I am discontinuing his services and request that he continue to send his monthly statements in order to make the payment as was agreed. I also telephone this attorney, letting him know that I believe that he was fighting for the same cause (grandchildren) also that he will take me to the poor house before the adoption is final.
I callled the secertary requesting my personal items I had submitted to him. I was informed that this attorney wanted the payment in full to date. My husband was about to give him the full balance of $2,598.95 to date.

I have already have paid in the past year over $8,000 to $9, 000. for work that was not benefitical in our cause.
I have hired a new attorney who wanted me to go to the local C & Y agency to signed release form, so that she can talk with staff members regarding my cases (adoption). I found out from a reliable source, the previous attorney had dated the defendant in the past, continued to be good friends to date.

I was shock! knowing this attorney took our hard earned money, used our weakness (grandchildren) adoption cases against us in effort for his friend to win these cases. I want justice done! I want reinbursment & lawsuit against this attorney for fraud, conflict of intrest and playing our cases to his advantage.
